Ready for my bath!

A few more finishing steps, and the tub will be ready!
One side of our master shower is plumbed.
Pending a few parts (and one minor decision), the guest bathroom downstairs is nearly finished.
Lastly, the bar stools are assembled and in place.

Things a foot

We are narrowing down the needed details to make our hillside hut feel like home. Can't help but love my new rug, even if it's not an original.
As you might have noticed, for various reason I intend to reduce the amount I'm revealing on this blog. Nothing personal, of course, but if you wish to see our (nearly) finished (perpetual work-in-progress) project, you'll have to appear in person at our of our house-warming or dinner parties.

A few more details done

At last, the correct section of the section has arrived!
James has a special skill at finding those special touches.
Corner shelf assembled for kitchen near the entry from the living room.

Flowers, pumps, and a great chest

Flowering vetch that runs up the hill between our house and the road. Look closely, and you'll spot James on the deck.
The new 1hp well pump arrived (hope UPS didn't beat it to death, based on the box's appearance) to replace the gonked out 3/4hp pump.
Our lovely refrigerator has a limited freezer capacity, so we brought in a big chest freezer.

Pull up a chair

My fingers are a tad numb from assembling the chair legs, but it was worth it to finally have a place to sit.
Pull up a chair, I'm nearly ready to fix dinner!
Looks almost black in these pictures, but the wood stain is actually chocolate, which is my attempt to tie in the ceiling fan blades.
